Welcome To Gujarat Ecology Commission

Gujarat Ecology Commission (GEC) was established vide Resolution No.ENV-1090-GOI-122-P, dated 29.10.92.

To provide an organization that plans and works for restoration of ecologically degraded areas to ensure the ecological health of Gujarat systematically and holistically. To arouse a collective ecological consciousness among the people of Gujarat and to develop a conservation ethos in the State that would militiate against ecological degradation anywhere in the State and strive to restore the ecological balance through peoples organized action.
